Agnes of God is a 1979 play by American playwright John Pielmeier.
Summoned to a convent, Dr Martha Livingstone, a court-appointed psychiatrist, is charged with assessing the sanity of a novice nun accused of murdering her newborn. Miriam Ruth, the Mother Superior, determinedly keeps young Agnes from the doctor, further arousing Livingstone's suspicions.
Who killed the infant and, perhaps more importantly, who fathered the tiny victim?
Livingstone's questions force all three women to re-examine the meaning of faith and the power of love, leading to a dramatic, compelling climax.

Well done 👏
Full length play (2 Acts)
3 performances:
Friday, 8th March 7:30pm
Saturday, 9th March 2:00pm
Saturday, 9th March 7:30pm

Calling all lovers and supporters of theatre!
The costume dept. for the production of The Addams Family is looking for support and assistance in the manufacturing of the costumes. We are aware that not everyone is a seamstress, our needs go beyond machining. The following tasks can be done in your armchair at home with nil experience.
We are looking for
A threader of elastic
A sewer of press studs /Velcro
A clipper of loose threads
A steamer /an ironer
and any other incidentals that may pop up
If you are comfortable with simple straight machining there will be folding edges and hemming.
All garments can be dropped off and collected and will come with any instructions required and materials.
We are costuming not sewing for Paris fashion week so anyone who wishes to join in the costume team will be welcome.
Anyone looking for a social hub outside the home there will be group sewing sessions.
All Skills All welcome
All needed please comment below or send us an inbox ... See MoreSee Less
