Casting for "Agnes of God". Summoned to a convent, Dr. Martha Livingstone, a court-appointed psychiatrist, is charged with assessing the sanity of a novice nun accused of murdering her newborn. Miriam Ruth, the Mother Superior, determinedly keeps young Agnes from the doctor, further arousing Livingstone’s suspicions. Who killed the infant and, perhaps more importantly, who fathered the tiny victim? Livingstone’s questions force all three women to re-examine the meaning of faith and the power of love, leading to a dramatic, compelling climax.
Directed by Nicolaas Voordendt, this critically acclaimed dramatic script by John Pielmeier will be Whyalla Players opening production for Season 2024, to be performed March 8 and 9.
Casting call:
Sister Agnes Lead. Female. Stage age: Early 20s. Actor must be comfortable singing acapella and portray an absolute love of singing
Mother Miriam Lead. Female. Stage age: 40-70

I went to that show !! I’ve never laughed so much in my life!! I spoke to Warren McKenzie and he said what we rehearsed was always different on the night !! It was a great show!!
You were so funny lyn and i remember you taking my mum to lunch in adelaide just before she started getting unwell
What can I say? The things we do. But I did them with some of the most wonderful people ever❤️
You have to be a confident man to wear pink tights and such a short skirt, Warren McKenzie! You both look great!

Amazing show
One of my favourites.
Twas a goody. Was part of the crew. I reckon this was the best production by the Players. Kym Clayton displayed his magnificent directing skills bringing this show to the stage
Hayley Saunders all those hours of dying calico and making full costumes from scratch ❤️
They were brilliant as were all the cast
Garry Judd Roy Van Genderen
Sadly I missed this one. My inconsiderate husband decided to have a heart attack.
